Smoked lard, dried herbs, wet earth funk, white pepper and black currants. Tight and nicely chewy on the palate with fine, creamy tannins and a vertical, bone-dry finish. Good length. This would be even better if there was a bit more depth of flavor in the mid-palate. Drink now, but can still keep.
