Ripe, mouthwatering raspberry and red-cherry flavors are vibrant and concentrated in this wine sourced from a village-level lieu dit in the lowest part of Echézeaux, directly adjacent to Clos de Vougeot. Despite a hot vintage, it's a bright-eyed Pinot Noir full of youthful tension, anchored by a penetrating core of minerality. It still needs time to open, so approach from 2025. The wine should improve well beyond 2035 and hold further.
