Lovely classic austere nose. Quite elevated and open-knit with expressive mocha notes and chocolate. Good acidity and concentration on the palate with admirable vigour for a 13 year old. It lacks a little cohesion, slightly angular, but this was still a splendid wine that was drinking perfectly. Tasted at the chateau. Drink until 2004. Tasted July 2002.
