Moving to the reds, the 2018 Saint Joseph La Sybarite offers a classic, smoky, earthy, meaty (aka old-school Saint Joseph) style in its dark, almost blue fruits, rich, medium to full-bodied mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and great finish. Just a smoking good 2018 that offers lots of fruit and texture balanced by solid underlying tannins and concentration, enjoy bottles any time over the coming 10-12 years. This is easily the finest version of this wine I've tasted.
