Italy's most famous wine star producing area, there are many well-known wine estates in the area, such as Brunello and Chianti Classico. There are 11 kinds of DOCG and 34 kinds of DOC wines in the production area, as well as many IGT and VdT wines. Each wine is of very high quality. It is located in Tuscany, the heart of Italy, with an area of nearly 23,000 square kilometers .
The climate of the Tuscany region, especially the mild coastal area, has relatively frequent rainfall. The Apennines prevent the cold air from the northeast from entering this region. Mountains, plains, hills and other landforms are distributed in this region. Soils are more complex, with the best soils containing a very unique mixture of rocks called galestro. The unique soil and terrain here, together with the Mediterranean breeze, provide the perfect natural conditions for Tuscany to become Italy's most important wine-producing region.
Sangiovese is the main grape variety in this region and the most common red grape variety in Italy. The wines produced by this variety are deep in color, delicious, lively and changeable, with plum and rustic flavors, which are generally only found in Italy and rarely grown in other countries.
