Located on the Burgundy Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet is as famous as the top white wine villages of Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault and is one of the most expressive appellations of Pinot Noir.

The vineyards, located between 220 and 325 meters above sea level, have vast expanses of marble for development, such as the slates used to build the Trocadero and Louvre Pyramid in Paris. The soil here has a high content of limestone and a complex soil structure, which is distinguished by fields. In the north, the clayey limestone structure is the main structure, which is more suitable for the cultivation of Chardonnay. It has a continental climate with warm, dry summers and long, cold winters, which are warmer than Chablis, making it ideal for growing Chardonnay.

The white wines of this region are very bright and lively, with a deep golden color, often with fresh buttery, pineapple, citrus, and typical mineral characteristics, and more tropical fruit flavors, round and supple, with moderate acidity, The aftertaste is sometimes hazelnut.

The production area is about 197.66 hectares to produce white wine, including 3 Grand Cru Grand Cru fields Criots-Batard-Montrachet, Batard-Montrachet, Montrachet, of which Batard-Montrachet and Montrachet are shared with Puligny-Montrachet and 55 Premier Cru first-class fields.
